Erin Small Ellis

Erin has worked in international contemporary art business since 2008. She began her career as the administrator for the post-war and contemporary art Day Sales at Christie’s London. She then held positions with art advisor Nicolai Frahm and a Hamburg-based art finance firm as head of their London office. She founded Small Art Advisory in 2012, focusing on building collections for private clients and corporations investing in emerging artists. During that time she curated salon-style exhibitions and talks in her home, collaborating with several European contemporary art galleries. Erin received a BA in French with minors in Art History and Business from the University of Texas. She holds an MA with distinction in Contemporary Art with a focus in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. Originally from Dallas, Erin relocated from London to Austin in 2018.

Kristen Force Boswell

Kristen has over 12 years of experience in the post-war, contemporary and emerging art market. She spent over 5 years in post-war and contemporary art at Christie’s New York as a specialist and special projects manager. During her time at Christie's, she oversaw a series of charity auctions held in collaboration with the Leonardo Di Caprio Foundation, David Zwirner, The Clinton Foundation, and contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. Following her time at Christie’s, she was a senior member at Ordovas, a London-based 20th century art gallery. She holds a BA in International Communications from Texas Christian University, an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art history from Christie's Education, New York and an MA in Art and Politics from Goldsmiths College, University of London. She is an accredited member of the Appraisers Association of America. A native Texan, Kristen moved to Austin in 2019.
